Hitchcock - Aeroplane scene - North by Northwest - Der unsichtbare Dritte

Aside from this being my favorite scene in general. I appreciate that it was shot in my beloved "Great Central Valley". The question is where exactly in "The Big Valley"? As this Valley is around 825 miles from end to end!......I also love how prominently that cool old late 50's "White Freightliner Cab Over" ( then new ) is used in the shot. Even though that scene is truly famous for its' cinematography. It suggests that Hitchcock was using "product placement" to pay for the movie.

I heard Hitchcock talk about how they constructed this barren field. It really is amazing the sets they can create for these movies. This is the best movie. Thanks for post.

Ja, I think one of his best films ever ( with Vertigo, Window to... and Psycho).
I´m proud that you have my video clip in your favorites. You have it now in German language.... hehehe
