To kurando87' comment on wanting Sarah Brighman to sing FF6 Opera:

I agree too that Sarah Brightman singing this song would be amazing to hear in person and in the game^^.

It could work if they put good voice actors for a remake of the game (if possible). (Brightman as Celes... It could actually work.)

(Out of topic a little: If they ever remake this game, I hope Hamill gets the part for Kefka.)

But overall, I still love Final Fantasy VI as it is especially this scene.

Final Fantasy has a magical melody, it can make you love, it can make you cry, it can give you so many different feelings. Nobuo Uematsu is just a master of music.

i agree with u on both parts

story makes a game, but now alot of work has been taken from making stories good in games. also characters look funny in most games now such as star ocean last hope or even eternal sonata
im just looking for good rpgs

Although Graphics are the primary pushing force for many RPG's these days, RPG's are still decent these days, its just nothing can compare to nostalgia

I think they're still decent, but I don't know if I agree that it's nostalgia. I think if (keeping my fingers crossed here) Final Fantasy 6 were remade for the PS3 and brought up to date with the latest engine, kinda like how FF4 was reworked for the DS, we'd see that FF6 would take the video game world by storm as the best RPG ever (all over again).

This is a game that's over 15 years old, re-released as a fully up to date FF game I think the new generation of gamers would eat it up.
