I think this is a old episode of air wolf. That one guy flying is Jan Mickal  Vincent.

I thought it was fake too, until I bought my own and trained how to fly. I thought the engine had to instantly reverse too, but that is not the case. The blades change their angle based on the settings in the radio. RC helicopter flying is exciting and there is an actual full sized RED BULL helicopter that flies inverted too. of course is fake, if you watch carefully, is impossible to fly a chopper upside down, unless the engine should turn counterwise instantly, so it is impossible

My friend, it's called "CCPM" and it's not impossible. Do a little google search and you'll see what I mean. Basically the blades don't switch direction, they just change their angle of attack... effectively reversing the thrust vector... instantly. Impossible? No, hard to fly... yes

So far i am happy with the t-rex 500 cf but the 700 np in simulator is so great!

I wonder whats next the t-rex turbine?? O I hope so! Really great flying. Align is makeing tons of high quality models
