thanks... it took me time to locate it on youtube...Finally got it via Google ! It brings to me again nostalgic memories of warm and precious moments spent in London in the 90's relaxing away from war for a while then back there again...God bless you all
Sorry to disappoint you but it isn't George Harrison but George Terry playing the solo. He was a part of claptons backing group from 1974-79. Great guitarist!!
I'm glad everyone has enjoyed this post, even though it may be hard to find. Thanks for the info that Charlie Chaplin wrote it, I didn't know that. I first heard the song back in the '50's as a kid. Then, it was always sung as an upbeat Polyanna song. Clapton's bluesy version really connects when you're feeling down.
yeah man thats a great song i am glad i can found here in youtube, pls change the name put something like that Eric Clapton - Smile a lot of clapton fans missing this song brother this song i've got in the cd 461 ocean boulevard deluxe edition great post
1974. I think, 'Got this from a small album produced by Robert Stigwood, great version , I alway's thought that George Harrison played the guitar solo.
Interesting. I was looking for this for a while. Thanks for posting it! Clapton is a living guitar god of the blues, but I don't particularly care for this bluesy cover of "Smile".
