Actually Bjork got nominated for best actress, tho the film deserved an oscar. But you know only 'blockbusters' get the oscars. :/ Unfair.

so i know maybe people reading these comments may think i am just making my "own" ideas and imposing them on the film. but another good example of support for my ideas is another scene in the movie about 107 steps. i would ask people to look up the meaning of the number 107. maybe google daf shuri number 107. if the movie has no meaning then why pick that number? why not 12 steps? 44? 500? well turns out 107 is a special number. anyway, movie is full of things to think about.

if you will remember in the film after this scene the movies changes, into court room, and jail. also you will notice the train crosses over a bridge. another transistion. do you really think the writer/director said "hey there is a bridge lets film over there" i am sure alot of trouble was gone through to present the scene the way it was shot. you can certainly find your own meaning in this film and i am willing to listen to it., and whatever that opinion is, but know there is meaning.

wow, name calling. must mean you cant think of a reason why my interpratation is wrong. films like this one are few, in that they are "art" in that they presnt the veiwer with an opprtunity to "figure out" what the artist is saying. it is really how film started out(silent movies), and really hardly anyone makes those movies anymore because the puplic in general just wants car crashes, and some object to hit some guy in the nuts. about the train tracks they represent a preordained destiny.

well you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

it does not change that this "musical-like" sequence contains real bad vocals and nonsense dancing on a rolling train.
