HI ForestChav! - obv.I've already got the whole WTC both in harps and piano rendition,but the harps version I own,sounds s bit "dry"- I ignore if this fact comes from recording or from the instrument itself or from its temperement.This prelude by Van Asperen is much sweeter and musical to me.Thx for info.

This is late 1950's Baroque performance practice.Metronomic,Revisionis t Objectified,
everything flat & equal,no surprise,no lyric,no individuality,no interpretation,no dynamic.Everything Baroque deleted.
If he had one of those 1950 gothic broken glass sounding harpsichords,this archaic recreation would be perfect.
