Then, the question becomes who is shining these images to scare Danny. Jack, of course!

There is a direct connection between room 237 and the twin daughters, that Kubrick has used to scare Danny.
Room 237 represents the end. Room 237 is the few rooms that have TWIN doors. Twins, twins.
