i bought a swan plant from a shop a week and a bit ago, and it had a chrysalis attached to it. i kept it indoors as the weather was abit crappy (two chrysalises on my other plant died from the bad weather) and today, as I was hanging around in the livingroom, the chrysalis opened and a male monarch came out of it. it made my day!

a friend named it steve. he's somewhere outside for the night, hanging onto a tree. i hope steve leads a good life.
