Windows Vista: Full Aero Glass with only Shared Video RAM

Until yesterday (2007.01.15), I assumed that Windows Vista Aero Glass required 128MB of dedicated graphics RAM on a graphics board. Looks like I was wrong. This is running on a PC with 128MB of Sha...

Vista requires 769MB of system RAM and 128 MB of video RAM to run Aero. A system with 1GB of RAM and onboard video with shared memory can use 128MB or 256 MB of RAM for video and still have the 768MB of system RAM needed for Aero to run.

Yeah, all ATI cards built after 2005 can support Aero features.

LIKEWISE saying, your graphics card must have 64MB RAM with pixel shader 2.0, vertex shader 2.0, WDDM capable, and DirectX 9.0.

I own an onboard ATI RADEON X1100 with 64MB RAM, but I changed it to 32MB RAM once and I still got great Windows Aero performance. =D

I had 1.0 and I could do Aero and all the features.
but mine and yours lags like this...
if you have a 'GOOD' graphics card everything will load faster and be faster and smoother...
