guess it's true... this was the song in my head for a month or so when I found that my beloved (a love not shared...) had passed away.... the song is beautiful and more than sad at the same time...

Davey wrote on the old Cousteau site that this is a song about the terrible allure of falling in love with someone, or something, that is utterly dangerous and wrong. If you want the full explanation (which is too long to post here) mail me and I will give it to you.
