he was doing more than just that, he was rebelling against the present day world an all the falseness in it, an searching for a place of truth. im 24 an i can definitely understand what he was doing an have the same dream. Man was not meant to live like this.

thats because the book was originally mad from his diary
off course the book is better but the movie is life changing i would say

Please read the book the movie changes some things around.

I read the book first and throughout it i kept thinking of how much Chris reminded me of Jim Morrison. Extremely misunderstood by his parents. Good movie better book.
