This is one of the only videos where I've seen him look directly into a camera for more than a fraction of a second. His talent blows my mind, as my mom says, "It's a shame how the great ones always go so young." For real, mom.

I was introduced to Elliot Smith from a close friend of mine before I moved and continued looking for XO.  I can never get enough of his lyrics. He was a great artist.
