Do not ban them. If it were military or a copo that went on a shooting spree then you would have no defense witch is exactly what they are trying to do. Having a gun and not needing it persay verses needing a gun and not having it. Common people it's your constitutional right to bare arms. And when it was established there was a quote saying that it want be to protect you from the common citizen, but rather protect you from military and law enforcements!

Bans WERE in effect and it did not stop the shooting. Laws do NOT affect criminals. Criminals break laws. In every case I've read, only when another armed person shows on the scene, an armed citizen or the police, does the shooting stop.

It's not about the guns, people. It's about the people using them. It's about keeping the guns away from those crazy nut jobs. It's about all people using/owning the guns, even the innocent civilian. Everyone says, "Oh if that principal had only had a gun..." Bullshit. That principal wouldn't have done shit because they wouldn't have known shit about how to use their weapon. Not loading and shooting, but knowing how to behave. You want guns? You want freedom? You need responsibility.

That's true. Look up how many of the assault rifles used in these atrocities have been purchased legally...it's bloody appalling.

The same day this happen there was a similar story in China but the man did it with a knife.this tells me that's it's not about the guns it's about the mind behind the plan.I'm sure that if schools have more cops in the area and school security get gun upgrades things like this can be stopped and prevented

you CAN NOT stop something like this if someone will commit to killing people there's no way to stop them weather it would be with a firearm etc...., why not just have security or police at schools hey it might create more jobs lol. anyways why take our rights away god damn government.
