BTW, Don't knock the rebadged Holdens. The G8 and the upcoming SS are the most exciting cars to come out of GM in a decade! You might throw in the Camaro too but that is also a Holden chassis.

Correction, Dodge was OWNED by Daimler in Germany and is now owned by Fiat. It hasn't been an American car company for years.

Better MPG, better quality control, better costumer service, more power, better handling. I test drove a lot of cars before I settled on the Camry. Interestingly, you name is Moparman when Chrysler hasn't been American car company for many years. Even many GMs are built in Canada, Mexico, Argentina. At least my Camry was partially built in WV and my Tundra was built by Americans in Texas.

American cars are barley American and they are still junk I'll take my chance in my camry. Most of the accelerator problems was human error and stupidity.

Buy American? American cars aren't even American anymore, 7/8's of GM's lineup are rebadged Australian Holden and Vauxhall cars. Ford is now outsourcing to Germany, because, let's face it, they know what they're doing when it comes to auto making. Dodge has been getting advice and parts from Mercedes for years, and as soon as that union dissolved, they hopped into bed with the Italian company Fiat.

Lol, "BUY AMERICAN". I'd like to see American cars outdo a Volvo. Those fuckers are like fancy tanks that last forever.

The insurance institute shouldn't have to tell Toyota to beef up safety. This should have been done before the car was put to production. Toyota. Moving Backwards..
