Duet by Tom Jones and John Farnham
Lyrics:
My Yiddishe Mama, I need her more than ever now.
My Yiddishe Mama, I'd love to kiss that wrinkled brow.
I long to hold her hands once more as in days go...
Duet by Tom Jones and John Farnham Lyrics: My Yiddishe Mama, I need her more than ever now. My Yiddishe Mama, I'd love to kiss that wrinkled brow. I long to hold her hands once more as in days gone by And ask her to forgive me for things I did that made her cry. How few were her pleasures, she never cared for fashion's styles Her jewels and treasures, she found them in her baby's smiles Oh, I know that I owe what I am today To that dear little lady so old and gray To that wonderful Yiddishe Mama of mine.

How few were her pleasures She never cared for fashion styles Her jewels and her treasures She found them in her babys smiles Oh I know that I owe what I am today To that dear little lady whos gone away To that wonderful Yddishe momme momme, momme of mine
My Yddishe momme I need her more than ever now My Yddishe momme Id like to kiss her wrinkled brow I long to hold her hand once more As in days gone by And ask her to forgive me For things I did that made her cry
this song breaks my heart any time i hear it. i have not spoken to my mother for the last 3 years and it s all down to a stupid argument about my wife.
I can understand your feelings. Try to talk to her - if not "one-to-one" take contact with your momme mentally and invite her to join in. Ask "other forces" to assist you. .... it works. Regards from Switzerland and all the best. Alexandre
You know, my father and my mother and myself, we did not talk to eachother for 5 years - so I know. Let us not do the same to other people. Be blessed. Alexandre

She never cared for fashion styles
Her jewels and her treasures
She found them in her babys smiles
Oh I know that I owe what I am today
To that dear little lady whos gone away
To that wonderful Yddishe momme
momme, momme of mine
I need her more than ever now
My Yddishe momme
Id like to kiss her wrinkled brow
I long to hold her hand once more
As in days gone by
And ask her to forgive me
For things I did that made her cry
.... it works.
Regards from Switzerland and all the best.
Alexandre
Be blessed.
