this song breaks my heart any time i hear it. i have not spoken to my mother for the last 3 years and it s all down to a stupid argument about my wife.

I can understand your feelings. Try to talk to her - if not "one-to-one" take contact with your momme mentally and invite her to join in. Ask "other forces" to assist you.
