Wow! I used to listen to this and think "the Turtles ,(a band of white guys) had the first rap song"and now I see that they were sampled on rap records with this tune and also Buzzsaw! Pretty cool.

Never realized the sexual innuendo of this song when i was a kid until an old girlfriend pointed it out to me in my 20's. I'm chief come on I wanna lay ya' Haaaaaaaaaaaa. too funny.

The Turtles were notorious for doing goofy stuff on their album cuts and sometimes their flip sides on their 45 singles. When I first started seeing and hearing the Bare Naked Ladies I immediatley thought of the Turtles humour.
