  • lets hope hes not doing to much quality training ,,sure u jump high and quick ..but the injuries will come at same rate .iv seen it happen,,other than that this kid got it going on..gonna b intresting to see the next 2 years,,,REALLY intresting,,he already jumped higher than both sotomayor and sjöberg at 14 and 15,,so all he has to do is keep it up =) note to self,,javier jumped 233cm as 17 year old and patrik 231cm ,,,GO JANICK GO u can do it.

  • Janick's training is of course periodized and at the moment he is in his pre-season with a relatively large volume and low intensity (for a 15 year old). It is definately not his favorite kind of training, but he understands the importance of it. He performs injury-preventing training 2-3 times a week.

  • Maybe someone knows what's his height?

  • He came second in the youth world championship 2009, jumping 2.20m. The winner allso jumped 2.20m but he had less faults.

  • Actually I recently jumped 2.16 so thats one kid from canada jumping 2.16 and one kid from canada jumping 2.15m But yes i agree with you, it wont be won with ease.

  • if its dmitriy kroyter your thinking about then he has jumped 2.21.

  • Two Canadian kids going to world youth that have jumped 2.15 this year. It will not be a cakewalk for anybody. The Chinese and Russians always have hidden gems also.
