He came second in the youth world championship 2009, jumping 2.20m. The winner allso jumped 2.20m but he had less faults.

Actually I recently jumped 2.16 so thats one kid from canada jumping 2.16 and one kid from canada jumping 2.15m But yes i agree with you, it wont be won with ease.

if its dmitriy kroyter your thinking about then he has jumped 2.21.

Two Canadian kids going to world youth that have jumped 2.15 this year. It will not be a cakewalk for anybody. The Chinese and Russians always have hidden gems also.

he is 15 years old and come from Denmark. he is now 1.71-72 tall :)

lets hope hes not doing to much quality training ,,sure u jump high and quick ..but the injuries will come at same rate .iv seen it happen,,other than that this kid got it going on..gonna b intresting to see the next 2 years,,,REALLY intresting,,he already jumped higher than both sotomayor and sjöberg at 14 and 15,,so all he has to do is keep it up =) note to self,,javier jumped 233cm as 17 year old and patrik 231cm ,,,GO JANICK GO u can do it.

Janick's training is of course periodized and at the moment he is in his pre-season with a relatively large volume and low intensity (for a 15 year old). It is definately not his favorite kind of training, but he understands the importance of it. He performs injury-preventing training 2-3 times a week.
