I was fortunate to meet and hang out with Jurgen for two weeks after the World Cup when he vacationed in California. One day we were sitting on the beach and I saw two big scabs down his shin. I asked him how it happened. and he told me it was this foul. that it broke through his shin guard. brutal indeed. oftentimes violent tackles do not look that bad, especially over tv, but they are. a guy deliberately broke my leg in a game once, and all my friends in the stands thought i dove.

it's so clear that the defender went after klinsman legs not the ball at all, klinsman acted too much but the defender deserved the red as it's a very dangerous play, I saw that match , Argentina were out palyed by West Germany and the players were frustrated , they should off lost at least 3/1 or 4/1.
