It seems like once Fringe "improved" on this technique by making them move, it's been used more and more in commercials, and it's really annoying. It's not THAT much of a breakthrough.

Howard Shore did the score . The beginning title is a direct homage to three legends 1. Alfred Hitchcock 2. Bernard Herrmann and 3. Saul Bass.
