hi, maybe someone could answer me why ubuntu is used more than kubuntu when kubuntu has such a more friendly feel moving from windows?, I tried ubuntu and I much prefer the "classic" feel of kubuntu . . all replys to this comment really appreciated thank you in advanced.
tried to run compiz on a dell with ATI video card and compiz doesn't seem to support this, can't find any drivers also... New to linux so sorry if i made any stupid mistakes :)
I know this is a late post but it isn't that Compiz doesn't support ATI cards, it is just that ATI provides really crappy Linux drivers (which fail at 3D rendering). Intel and Nvidia are typically better choices for Linux support.
Hey. I was wondering how you switched the: minimize, close, and enlarge to the left side like in Mac? And is there a good tutorial in how to install Compiz Fusion on KDE 4? I've been looking and everywhere I go to it says something like: "KDE 4 is not meant to run Compiz Fusion because of KWin." and blah blah blah. Any help would be nice.
