hey steve ,can you help me with a problem....i bought a nokia n85 and keeps restarting...i updated the firmware and now restarts when i charge it and sometimes when i use him..can you help me please,i would really apreciate:)
This isn't the right forum for tech support... but sounds like a software issue. Back up, Hard reset it and see if it still misbehaves, before restoring your data? Are you sure you haven't changed product code or anything 'hack' like?
So you have to tap the screen, then wait and THEN press the shutter? Well, it's workable, I suppose, but nowhere near as elegant as a proper two-stage shutter key.

Regarding the camera focus: Are you aware it's touch to focus, press to take the snapshot?
