'gibadoo' there is a big difference between cults and mainstream peaceful religions - for eg if you go to many Sikh temples you see you are not pressured you can eat with them for free in the temple even if you are an atheist, for as long as you like, they will not try to convert you. a decent church/club/religion will not threaten you if you leave or make you do things you don't want to or make you afraid. you'd notice the difference if you went to a unitarian church and a pentecostal church.

I am guessing you have never been to the temple. Early mormon temple ceremonies required blood oaths and Brigham Young did order people killed on his behalf, read up on Porter Rockwell, also read up on the Mountain Meadows Massacre.

Holy crap. This is like a training thing I went to. Kind of freaky. Good thing I was so lazy that I started missing the rest of the meetings!

I've met someone like this. He literally told me stuff like this "you shouldn't have lots of friends," "you're not like everyone else. you and i are special," "the world will be destroyed in 2012 and I know where we can go to be safe," etc. I was like uhhh Mecca? When he realized it wasn't going to work, he had a mental breakdown of some sort and told me I had a lot of "darkness" inside of me and that I had some sort of power over him, and then started crying (lol) a lot of LHP people are nuts

o yeah i forgot the whole part about aliens killing his friend, and his so-called telepathic powers, and him describing me as a "wild animal" (like he was going to tame me). Seriously, I probably forgot 1/2 the stuff this guy did, but it was soooo lulzy.
