My fiance look almost like Betty Page,it don't matter how old she is man,as long as the men still look at her and adored her, she'll alway be in business,we the men will keep her in business,we loved her don't we boys ?? haahhhhhaaa....
Certainly jealous of a kiss from Bettie regardless of age. Sad she didn'yt feel she could show herself but respect her decision. I hope she was happy in her later years. No doubt she was a lovely lady inside & out x
I saw what she looked like in her later years. She didn't look bad at all. She looked damn fabulous for someone in her 80's. I saw a photo of her with Pam Anderson and Anna Nicole Smith for Playboy's 50th anniversary in 2003.
Camera Club Girls: The Work of Rudolph Rossi. Rudolph Rossi was an informal member of the New York City Concorde Camera Club in the repressive 1950's. For a ten dollar fee, he photographed Bettie Page and a plethora of interracial models, then later meticulously hand-painted each photograph creating the illusion of color photography. I really believe that Bettie was, for the most part, clueless as to how huge of an impact she had, and still has, on society. She was "just" a pin-up model. There were hundreds, if not thousands of them in the 50's, but what set her apart from the rest, as you said, was that she loved the camera and it loved her back. She was a class act, and I think a class act had a once in a lifetime chance to interview her. Thank you so much for posting this. And yes, I too am jealous about the hug and kiss
