Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was a biblical story. My history teacher played this song in class once when he was discussing the story because it was referenced in a document we read. Best teacher ever :D

I did know that but good one for pointing it out to those that don't. That's one thing i love about the Beasties; figuring out the lyrics,you get one line or reference and that helps you suss out the rest. When i mentioned bible rap before i thought the guy was talkin' 'bout like religious rap (god rap/jesus rock/church metal) or something of that ilk ! I was wrong, the guy had a point, as do you my good man.

That's ok :D. Yeah, I agree with you not calling it "religious rap". It's more of a rap with a religious reference. That, and a completely awesome song. I love songs who's lyrics are more then ankle deep.
