Note on the rejected EU Constitution and Lisbon Treaty:
The people of France and the Netherlands rejected the proposed EU constitution in the 2005 referendums. After this, other countries cancelled a promised referendum and the EU Constitution was re-written as an "amending treaty" or a "reform treaty" and named "Treaty of Lisbon".
On the basis of this deceit, they claimed that no referendums are necessary on the Lisbon Treaty. Ireland was constitutionally required to hold a referendum and on the 12 June 2008 the people of Ireland gave a resounding No to Lisbon. Yet this vote is not being respected and the rule of law is being ignored. The EU leaders agreed at the June 19-20 EU Summit that ratifications must go on. Moreover, no other government is asking the people.
The Lisbon Treaty establishes a new "European Union" with joint citizenship - an EU "federal" State that is technically and politically empowered to centralize more power in Brussels. The treaty also stipulates the militarisation of the Union in order to 'police the world' just like the US does today. ..................................

The problem was not that the other Countrys wouldnt respect the Irish vote. The thing was that Irland didnt wanted to leave the EU. And the EU Contracts did not allow to kick out a country. So everybody else would have to leave and they would have to found a new EU.
And after the Financial Crash they signed it.
Most of you dont want the EU but its better for the European position in the World. The EU with Contract is better then EU without it. Irland could have left the EU all the time.
If the EU keep going at this rate it will only be so long before militant groups like the IRA start forming to deal with the union the situation isnt that different now then it was between england and ireland. Only a matter of time now, sadly the EU has abandoned democrasy now so some people will see this as the best way to get back at them. People dont learn by the mistakes of the past do they?
This is so incredibly absurd and I have to say I'm German myself but Martin Schulz is a no go. It's very interesting to see how the Pro threat the Anti's. Even though I don't find the concernings about the LIsbon Treaty and the concern about a democratic Europe lies above all this progress and political capital.
Mr Farage thank you for your courage and keep going.
There's no point in having referendums anyway. They'll just keep repeating the process until you vote yes. Whichever way you look at it, a referendum means 'yes'.
...yes, it's true I'm afraid. The countries that are in the deepest shit and have the most to gain (Spain, Estonia, Poland...) are usually the ones who don't even bother to question anything. Any vote that is put up and they just vote 'yes' to it, so they can carry on getting their subsidies and assistance. I'm not saying that is the case for Ireland, but bear in mind that Ireland is in a big recession at the moment so maybe there is some truth in it...
Looks like Matrix for me... Really some scie-fi SHIT. Yet every time I critisize these things in school people always yell at me and say that I overreact. One sane person CAN´T overreact when telling the TRUTH. We have rights and we should fight for them with our hearts souls and LIFES!!! THose pussys don´t dare standing up against the machine. We should stop feeding the machine allready...
in today's europe a sane person is a treath, cause only idiots can be manipulated. look at usa and you will understand the way that manipuiation works....
why is anyone who is EU-sceptic a lunatic? Are you saying that all those people who voted No are lunatics? Must be a lot of lunatics in your country then.
