PS My girlfriend wants to get a Windows machine because her MacBook pro is not letting her set up bootcamp says there is more than 1 partition when there is only 1 and apple won't help. She

they ripped off a kernel of free BSD that they used for the mac and adopted for the touch tablets, (the only reason my girlfriend has a MacBook pro is because my father got it for her as a gift for her getting a 3.8 GPA during her first semester of college.

1. Did I say out of the box, no most people install Office, and Microsoft has done a lot for the computer industry including having the first personal computer language for the Altair 8800. They wrote most of the BASIC for the apple 2e

2. The original Macintosh had a ton of Microsoft software such as Multiplan, a dos interpreter, etc.

3. I have used every popular OS out there and for me I have never had Windows crash EVER I have used Windows 3.01 to Windows 8

Not on a fast computer that supports hardware acceleration. Which I have and it does. It is just a TINY bit sluggish. It is barely noticeable except under a heavy load. If I run a VM on a SSD you can hardly tell the difference.

Okay, first of all, stop getting fooled by "abby scott" who insists that Steve Jobs stole some Japanese tech.

Second, the first Apple operating system was built by Woz, not by Bill. Bill only did BASIC for the Apple ][.

The time when Microsoft helped out Apple was in the 90s after NeXT was subsumed into Apple and Apple needed help. The only thing Microsoft asked in return was the inclusion of IE on the Mac.
