the most beautiful concert ever written, Mendelssohn literally touch heaven with this gem, he began writing it in 1844 and it was premiered on march 13, 1845, by the violinist to whom he dedicated masterpiece, Ferdinand David, being the orchestra directed by Mendelssohn himself at the Gewardhaus in Leipzig
Very nice to hear Enesco as conductor! Young Menuhin put's his heart in this recording... ------------------------------ ------ Greetings from the Netherlands, Rolf Classical Lp and 78 RPM collector Twittering @otterhouse
