Correct, 300 Years old, all the other robots were too old and shut down automaticly, and rusted. I think he was the last to be built.

Nobody at pixar makes terrible movies, but I think the reasoning for the Brad Bird/Ratatouille tags is because people saw this teaser at that movie's release.
