The book was called incredable visual illusions.

its a square its just that the 2 sticks are nailed on the sides u can tell a lot from the hammer side to side

they are not in the corners only on the out side of the sides if it makes sense what im saying lol

hey buddy the two outside vertical pieces keep the two horizontal squares together, the two inside vertrical posts creates the illusion ,while the second one from the left actually helps holding it up and olso the true construction is not a square.

hahaha...no the shadow is real....i simply forgot about that....I'm just a wood worker, and I bought an illusion book with the box illusion in it...so i thought i'd give it a go....I should have made the box a bit longer so that i could get inside...
Took me ages to get everything good enough to film...but I'm happy with the outcome :)
