After every knee tuck I make a push up, to train abs and arms in combination i like it

Yes!
Indeed with shoes on it makes it harder to stay in contact with the ball. Be careful, slipping on this one will cause quite a crash.

but i've seen this one done by rounding the back? like you're curling yourself together like a ball and then stretch yourself out. is that another excersise entirely, or is it just a wrong version of this one??

As long as you don't get injured or plop to the ground, then there is no "wrong" version.

Your triceps will tire just from holding your upper body in place, until you get stronger.

Yes, you can round your back, like a cat stretch, which will also change the angle of your lower leg and points of contact on the Swiss Ball. If you learn new Swiss Ball exercises with a slightly deflated ball, that may help until you get accustomed to the movement.
