The Blues Project - Flute thing

Great track from 66. Rappers may sample or steal tracks like this to sample because they have no real musical talent. these guys do!

You can really see the remnants of the Blues project in both Blood sweat and Tears and Seatrain.The al Kooper/Steve Katz influence is definitley there...

Alot of Rappers use samples from older tracks. Instead of looking at it has "Stealing". I see it rather has a compliment saying that an older track can be used to Enhance their own. That itself acknowledges the track has good.

Yup, it's on a bonus disc that comes with the Monterey Pop DVD.

Should've continued and done that guitar solo at the end there. Still cool though.

I saw the Blues Project live in Cleveland in something like 1967 and this was my favorite piece at the time. Still is.

Hi gang...I'm not a blues fan (yes, I know
my opinion plus two dollars will buy a small coffee these days!) but that being said, I have this album...and love these guys...saw them in concert at Rutgers back when air was clean and **x was dirty! If anyone can post the original album cut (not this album)...not the live concert version... of Alberta...please do so...if you do I'll have to love you forever! Thanks!!!!
