MMA needs to Weigh the fighters right before they enter the Octagon or at least the same day within 1 hr before the fight. There is too much CARB loading and weight stacking. Look at Rumble johnson ... This guy looked easily 195 to 205 and he was supposed to be 170... It would give Heavyweights like Cain and Couture a chance against 265lbers who are supposed to be 265 not 285 to 295. It widens the gap too much into a super heavyweight bracket. Also year round roid testing... And HGH blood test

The fighters would have to cut weight and keep it off during their training period if they want to compete at that weight class. Instead of water weight dehydraging then hydrating over night to give them that edge... Fight at someones real weight class instead of bloating up over night.

Simple FIGHT AT YOUR REAL WEIGHT CLASS... IF you are 205 it's easier to go down to 185 if that is your choice. OTHERWISE FIGHT AT light heavyweight. Look at johnson who cuts from 250's down to 170lbs so he can fight in ST Pierres division. First off it's not healthy for hte fighters. I rather see a TRUE 150lber fight a true 150lber instead of someone who shreds from 170's to 150 and blows back up over night into the high 160's... I know most fans are naturally retarded but this would even things

Then it should be 1 hr before the fight so at least you are facing a REAL 150lber instead of a 175lber who cut down then blows back up in that 24 hr period using the iv... It's bad enough they fail to properly drug test most of these guys allowing them to beef up that much over night is just another flaw in this sport. Anderson silva would have to Fight the 205 lbers instead. Johnson who cuts from 250 to 175lbs would have to fight in the heavy weight division... It's more sport.
