RALLY FOR ANCIENT FORESTS AND BC JOBS

The Wilderness Committee (Victoria chapter) organized one of the biggest environmental rallies in BC's history. 2,700 people came out to voice their support for saving the remaining old-growth forests on Vancouver Island and BC's lower-mainland region and to STOP THE EXPORT OF RAW LOGS and hence JOBS. Ensuring a sustainable forest industry working within the second growth plantation forests.
