GUARDIAN ANGELS CHICAGO ARREST 12/29/08

GUARDIAN ANGELS CHICAGO CHAPTER MAKE ARREST 12/29/08. MAN ON SUBWAY WAS SMOKING WEED. THEN WHEN HE GOT OFF THE TRAIN WAS ASKED BY THE TICKET AGENT TO LEAVE THE STATION. HE REFUSED AND POLICE WERE CALLED BY THE TICKET AGENT. HE THEN BEGINS TO SWING AT US. WE MADE SURE HE DIDN'T LEAVE THE TRAIN STATION. HE CONTINUED SWINGING AND WHEN HE MADE CONTACT HE WAS DETAINED. CONCERNED CITIZENS STARTED ARGUING WITH US. TICKET AGENT AND STAFF WERE TELLING THEM TO LET US DO OUR JOB. THEY CONTINUE TO ARGUE WITH US. SUSPECT CONTINUES TO PUT UP A FIGHT, SO EACH TIME HE DOES THAT WE DEFEND OURSELVES AND RESTRAIN SUSPECT. POLICE ARRIVE AND BATTERY CHARGES WERE FILED.

I fail to see how this is justified at all. You may see yourself as a hero, and I understand the power trip you must have had at the time of the filming, but really at the end of the day you just look like an asshole to the rest of the world.

Simple, no one should do what they want in public. From smoking weed, to pulling the emergency handle while the train is in motion, to swinging at passengers. What makes him different, than anyone else? Sorry we are not someone's punching bag plain and simple.

I want to see the video of him doing that. I have an extremely hard time believe that he was swinging at you guys for no reason. Logic tells me he was provoked by wannabe cops with cameras getting in his face.

I think these " guardian angels" should be arrested, they have no right to harass this man or detain him. He should pursue legal action.

I feel bad for the guardian angels shipped to camden today those people could care less about police let alone some dumbass citizen gonna try to be a hero theyll get shot or stabbed tryin to pull this shit on them streets i bet atleast two maybe three of these people end up dead in less than a year
