I'm an old dog so it took me awhile to learn these new tricks. I spent about one year in total making the lights and learning the electronics. I don't want to ruin a fun hobby by trying to make it a business. :)

I made this myself back in 2006 and spent about $800 in materials since it was all custom built and took a lot of experimentation to get the look I was after. Two people have built similar tail lights of thier own for 2G Eclipses based upon my design. No one builds these for retail sale.

Because, unlike most countries in the world, USA rules do not require amber turn signals. Red or amber rear turn signal are approved in the USA.

This is one of the best custom tail light installations, if not THE best I've ever seen. And to think this was all designed from scratch... people would pay good money to have something like this in their cars.

On another note, it's very attention grabbing and sets the car apart from the typical brake/turn signal systems found on any other car out there. Something like this would likely be safer because people would be more prone to noticing it vs. regular signalling systems.

How much would you charge to do it? My father is a truck driver and he told me he saw a eclipse with tail lights like yours and I was like omg I know what you're talking about showed him so he wanted me to ask how much you would charge to do it / show us.

I just saw this in person randomly on the road. Had to look it up. Much better visually at night. That's probably the coolest aftermarket accessory I've seen so far this century (light wise)

I'm a chevy guy if that matters (2011 silverado)
