The title for this video might sound like a description of the action, but it is, in fact, the name of the song.

Well, if you look at Scotty's knee when he's not playing, then this is really sped up.

This is one of the reasons why Youtube is so great. I had never heard of Scotty Anderson before being guided here. This is special!

And I'm sure that when you met him,you found out that as good as a guitar player he is he is even a better person.

I want to be the guy who is trading solos with Scotty. Has to be a very comfortable role.

Don't know why you don't hear much phrasing. There are long washes of notes, but there also are a lot of coherent musical statements.

Scotty has an innovative technique for playing double stops. Holding his finger against the thumbpick so that the pick and fingernail strike the two strings simultaneously, he can alternate pick (fast) sounding like two guitarists.

Very few shredders could match his speed without distortion to cover their technique, and he always gets a great tone.

Yeah, not feeling it - I can't make out much phrasing - I'm sure he's got some, but this is just so raggedly fast and cramed that it is unpleasing. A cascade of notes. Just my opinion though. I appreciate virtuosity as much as the next guy, so I'll go check out some more of his stuff to get an opinion.
