I have listened to Claudia Muzio and Magda Olivero, great singers, the both of them but put them together and they come nowhere near Maria Callas. She was and is the greatest. She was sheer genius. She is LA DIVINA.

meraviglioso- apprezzo soprattutto la stilizzazione del timbro che la Callas, qui come altrove, riesce a imporsi , per rendere un particolare personaggio o una particolare atmosfera musicale. In questo è unica- pensare che la STESSA VOCE canta Medea, Sonnambula, Butterfly- ognuna di queste signore con GIUSTO timbro appropriato e credibile!!!
