You show an major lack of understanding of the issues. True the crisis wouldn't have happened if there weren't bad loans, but that's like saying murders wouldn't happen without bullets. What caused this crisis was the repakaging of these bad loans into AAA paper. Had the loans been valued properly we would not be here. This is rampant criminality in our banking system folks, and the bankers and short sellers have stolen your money. For the future of our country please educate yourselves.

Funny thing happened a while ago. I have embarqmail. On the news section a few hours ago, there was a pic of the house speaker and several other congressmen/senators. The caption beside it said "Bailout Passes". I just rechecked it and NOW it says "Rescue Plan passes"..... Hmmmmmm, why'd they change the wording? I think Nancy Pelosi must have called them.

I always wanted to know what it was like to live in a 3rd world country now we will have the chance to experience it without the hassle of packing clothes and taking a long plane ride to some remote shithole, my aren't we lucky
