In a nutshell, depending on the environment you're put into, your epigenomes turn on or off to allow you to adapt to your environment.

why couldn't people just say that >.>

    keep. it. simple.

are the pictures at the beginning the same set of Monozygotic Twins over their lives? or are they multiple sets at varying ages?

I'm a triplet..I have an identical twin sister and a fraternal twin brother...My brother doesn't have a problem for people to differentiate him..well obviously because he is a boy..me and my twin always got mixed up and now we are 18 years old and people still can't tell us apart..It's really frustrating because if one of us made a mistake that mean both of us will face the consequences..

i know that my twin and i have had a hard time convincing people that we are identical because there are definitely differences! this video makes it very easy to understand, so thank you. maybe more people will believe us now knowing that you can still be identical twins while still having minor physical differences haha

I know that this is an old comment, however, people may talk to you at different times- they may say things in a different tone, you are exposed to different germs, and I believe mitochondrial DNA is different that your DNA. Mitochondria is an organelle that is its own organism and it reproduces on its own.
