The WCB is in a no-win situation.

On one hand they have employers hollering to keep premiums down while on the other are claimants looking for deserved support.

In between is a bureaucracy gobbling resources like there's no tomorrow. This is unsustainable.

Like caring, responsible parents, companies must step up and accept their role in employee's recovery. No one should or can care more about the welfare of these loyal supporters than them. It's the least companies should do.

I'm now disabled & can no longer work here in BC. Even with the benefit of subsidized housing, my Disability income falls far short of being able to maintain wellness. I live with chronic illness & pain 24/7 yet languish on waiting lists, can't get in to see an MD. BC is an unfriendly, shallow place where the poor are socially ostracized. I don't have friends here. I volunteer at the Food Bank 2 days/wk which helps me feel less useless. I can't manage alone; with a child it would be impossible.

While injured workers and their family's go without HELP, due to the massive corruption at all workers comp boards all across Canada, Compensation Employees get well paid to screw injured and disabled workers out of any HELP. My childrens lives totally disrupted, forced to quit sports programs, or any programs that cost money, due to DENIAL of CLAIM; Millions of Dollars are in the workers compensation surplus bank account,which are denied to injured workers and family's; We need a REVOLUTION.
