I broke up with my girlfriend, and took a job in Korea for a year. I had a driver that asked if if he could play a cassette tape. I didn't realize that the tape was only one song, "I'll Be Right Here Waiting for You". He played it non-stop every day. At first it was painful, later a fond memory, and finally I got so sick of this I wanted to kill the driver, my old girlfriend, and Richard Marx. Now, it's a fond memory again, great song that filled a year of my life.

i have loved this song for 20 yrs... i saw richard marx preform twice here in Halifax.. and i will never forget how the stage split and he walked over to the grand piano and just started playing.. I cried then and still do... this song it timeless
