ou r right the book was called "A History of The Necronomicon" and it lackes the "evil" rituals... and it referes more about the mad arabs testaments than the "evil" ( i love writing "evil") spells

i totally believe that. i have an art book of H.R. Geiger and his work is certainly the work of a disturbed man. the aliens from the movie were very close to works he had done before. he also had an obsession with phallic shapes. there was certainly a sexual undertone in his work

No question about it. Disturbing and with clear sexual overtones. I only wish C.G. Jung were alive today to do an analysis. Freud would give us his standard pablum. But I think a Jungian approach might get to the heart of it. It's not chaotic after all. There's definite meaning in the Necronomicon. Just because we are too dull to divine what it is doesn't mean there is no meaning there. There is.

You imply there is something "disturbed" about the expression of sexuality in art work? The fact you are reading the sexual undertones is as much an indication that they have some reflection in your psyche as it is that they reflect the psyche of the artist.

i only said his style reflected that of someone greatly disturbed. i never said anything about sexuality in art being disturbing. in fact, if you read my comment, the part about sexual undertones was a completely different thought. dont be so quick to attack people on their comments.
