I'm a car guy and I have lots of polish and wax. Would that stuff work the same? ( I use meguiers)

It will work a tiny bit, but it won't work as well as our product. You have to be careful with some car products also as some are too strong for a guitar. We get customers that buy our stuff to fix problems that car polishes created on their instruments.

car polish and wax (especially wax) can possibly damage your guitar

how deep a scratch can it remove?
Marked as spam
Its hard to describe in writing, it will remove scratches on the surface. If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail or the scratch makes a clicking sound when you slide your fingernail over it, it is probably a deeper scratch which may lessen or lighten but probably won't come out entirely.
