I cant stand U2. However, this is one of the best songs ever written, absolutely, positively brilliant words and music.

On that amazing stadium i'm sure it will be amazing.

you're right. U2 is bland compared to rhyming sentences sung over a stupid synth line backed with an overly simple electronic beat.
or what about Tchaikovsky's 1st Piano Concerto? I suppose that would be bland too.
