i fully agree with mrseasalty90 besides most of the strokes songs are alternative so stick with metallica or something like that.

Dude i'm not saying they werent influential but ther were other bands around that time were better, and more influential like the who, the kinks, mc5, the stooges, as for the strokes yeah they didnt do anything "new' but they did make good old fashion kick ass music
