If you think this play was about Evolution vs. Creationism, you have missed the point. It is about the application of Proverbs 11:29 in your life. The center point of the play is not the national furor Rev Brown created over some silly controversy, but rather the tragedy of what his SIN caused for his family and ultimately his community.

This is not a venue where any one is going to be convinced of something different than what they want to believe. Yeah, it was Jesus' CHOICE because he liked S&M, when god (who was Jesus, ergo he likes S&M too) could have simply "saved us" through but a simple thought. Instead he wanted to get crucified in the middle of the desert.
