the largest puzzle is new york new york and it is 3141 pieces not 3146. how do i know? i have it. i built it in two weeks

When I was young my sisters had a Taj Mahal 3D puzzle for Christmas. It was hard to complete but when finished it was really a piece of beauty.

There was no explanation of how the foam is cut into the same shape as the paper sheet!?!?!
