"Cooking for Krishna" will feature cooking demonstrations and recipes for sumptuous vegetarian items which we offer to Lord Krishna. Once offered, these preparations become "prasadam", or sanctified food!
In this first video our cook, Shashank Parkhi along with his wife Satyabhama devi dasi, shows us how to make a wonderful winter soup, mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables.

I've just recently had an interest in Hare Krishna's and honestly the main thing I fear about devoting myself to Krishna is giving up my meat. Seeing there are healthy and good looking meals that can be prepared easily is a great help to start my transition to being a vegetarian. Thank You!
The main diet for Hare Krishnas is healthy vegetarian items! :o) The level of spice is entirely up to the cook. Certainly, we don't encourage you to cook with TOO much spice! :o)
