I've never thought letterman was funny, but i do admit this is a really kind gesture to admit a wrong, especially after it hasn't been brought up for so long, and explaining that it was his fault and a mitake.

Guy tries to make amends and still gets shit on. Ah, well, that's today for ya. Dave was barely a month on his new network and obviously buckled to the pressures. But, honestly, would six minutes of Bill's rants at around 12:25 done anything? Maybe a day or two of complaints and then nothing.

Hate on Letterman, but at least Bill's fans have a chance to see a lost moment. His unseen material becoming more scarce as time goes on.
