Celine Dion's song "All by Myself" was originally done by Eric Carmen. Carmen's song was a variation on this movement, by Rachmaninov. All 'pop' music has its classical roots.

This is one of my favourite Rachmaninov pieces of all !!! As somebody else described it, it is "hauntingly beautiful".

The theme at 1:56 sounds like the song "All by my self" sung by Celine Dion. So this is where it was copied from....

This reminds me a bit of Mendelssohn's first piano concerto, 2nd movement
